Buying a new home puts you in charge of design. You can choose your own exteriors, countertops, furniture, interior paint colors, and much more. With a new home, you don’t have to worry about the rules of a homeowner’s association or apartment complex. Many homeowners today are concerned with energy efficiency. However, homes built 20 or even 10 years ago aren’t as energy-efficient as they could be.
